In honour of the approaching Passover (Pesach) Peri Foundation and the Russian State Library have presented to the National library of Israel the digitized copy of the Passover Aggadah dated 1749 from the collection of barons Ginsburg.
Passover Aggadah is a collection of the prayers, benedictions, interpretations of the Bible and liturgical works directly or indirectly connected with the subject of the Exodus from Egypt and the Pesach ritual.
Passover Aggadah from the Ginsburg collection is a unique manuscript illustrated by a large number of drawings representing biblical events. Digitization of Aggadah was carried out under the agreement signed in Jerusalem on November 7, 2017 between the National library of Israel, the Russian State library and Ziyavudin Magomedov charitable foundation Peri.
Due to the support of Peri Foundation outstanding literary works will be available online to both libraries, and to the general public.
